What you can expect
Travel to Waiheke Island from Auckland on this winery tour that emphasises all the highlights of many vineyards and wineries that it has to offer - journey aboard a luxury coach to enjoy some great wine tasting experiences at three of the best vineyards in the area. Your knowledgeable and experienced tour drive will provide you with interesting and informative commentary along the way as we head for, and make stops at Mudbrick Vineyard, The Goldie Room and Te Whau Vineyards throughout the course of the day and indulge in both beautiful wines and tasty local produce.
Once the vineyard portion of the tour is over, you are free to either board a ferry and head back to the mainland, or take advantage of your included All Day Bus Pass to continue exploring yet more of Waiheke's amazing New Zealand style highlights!

- Open Waiheke return ferry ticket
- Premium wine tastings and tours at Mudbrick
- The Goldie Room and Te Whau vineyards, nibbles
- All Day Bus Pass after the tour
- Mudbrick Vineyard wine tastings
- The Goldie Room, Waiheke’s first and most well-established vineyard
- Cable Bay Vineyard (summer time only)
- Te Whau Vineyard, acclaimed for its restaurant as well as stunning views and outstanding architecture
- All Day Bus Pass to further explore the island
- Tours depart Wednesday - Sunday at 1pm in Winter (9 April - 14 October) and daily at 1pm in Summer (15 October - 28 April)
- Tour returns to the wharf to depart on the 5pm sailing back to Auckland, or alternatively you may stay on the island and return at your own leisure
- Departure times are subject to change, please confirm your departure time with the operator once you have received your voucher (Tour operator details will be printed on your voucher)
- The duration of the tour is 4.5 hours, including ferry travel to and from the island
- This tour departs from Pier 2, Ferry Terminal, Quay Street, Downtown Auckland. Tour bus and guide meet you at Matiatia Wharf
- Bookings for the Wine on Waiheke Tour are essential. No tours on Christmas Day, ANZAC DAY and Good Friday
- Vineyards on this tour may change without notice. Tour is not suitable for children
- Maximum of 20 passengers
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking

Very good tour of 3 wineries
Very good tour of 3 wineries! Ferry ride was quick and smooth with option to return anytime. Our tour operator/driver was humorous and kept it lively the entire tour. Great variety of wines, but wish we had more of an in-depth tour of the actual wineries, not just thrir story. I would recommend for the breathtaking views alone! Rain or shine, a must see and do!

We had a highly enjoyable day
We had a highly enjoyable day. It was absolutely brilliant. Very professional. The vineyards were amazing and the tour guide was very informative. Loved it!
